We’ve started shipping!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve started shipping campaign rewards! A huge thank you to our warehouse team as they work to get your rewards to you as fast as they can.

Our current plan is to ship all tier rewards before the end of November. Then we’ll take a break to complete our Light Day sale before shifting gears back to the add-ons. Expect add-ons to ship in 2027. If there are any shifts to this, we’ll let you know.

As for digital rewards, they are available! If you have digital items in your pledge, please review this Backerkit article to know how to access your rewards.

Do you know where my package is?

Please keep your eyes out for an email that has your tracking information. As a reminder, our support team is unable to provide individual shipping estimates. If you’ve received a tracking number and a week passes without updates to your tracking information—delivered, in transit, or otherwise—please let our support team know.

TL;DR

  • Fulfillment begins September 15th—we’re one week away!
  • Digital rewards will be available through your backer survey on September 15th.
  • If you need to update your address, please submit a ticket ASAP!
  • Fulfillment takes time, so don’t worry if you don’t receive a tracking number right away.
  • Our support team cannot provide individual shipment updates.
  • Hoid’s Worldsinger Symposium will also be available on the 15th via a digital file within every backer’s survey.

Some final reminders before we begin delivering your rewards.

Pledge fulfillment starts on September 15th! Please double-check your shipping address within your pledge survey and reach out to our support team if your address needs to be updated. As addresses are now locked, you will not be able to update your shipping address yourself.

You can expect to receive a shipping confirmation email and a tracking number in the coming weeks once your tier rewards are shipped.

Remember that add-ons ship separately from tier rewards and may not ship until early 2027. 

For backers with digital rewards, you’ll receive an email with a link to your backer survey, where they can be found. Once you receive the link, your digital rewards can be accessed via your backer survey at any time. If you don’t see them immediately, please wait at least 24 hours before contacting support.

Hoid’s Worldsinger Symposium will be released digitally on September 15th.

The wait is over! The collaborative experience known as Hoid’s Worldsinger Symposium, which occurred during the campaign, is now written in metal (EPUB)! Every backer will receive a free digital copy of Hoid’s Worldsinger Symposium within their digital rewards. We wanted to take a moment to mention the incredible Worldsingers who helped weave this noncanonical, fan-made tale:

Update #9: Fulfillment is just around the corner!

TL;DR

  • We will lock all shipping addresses on September 4th.
  • Physical and digital rewards fulfillment will begin on September 15th.
  • Your digital rewards will be available on September 15th.
  • Once your tier rewards ship, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number.
  • Add-ons ship separately from pledge rewards and may not begin fulfillment until 2027.

Let’s work together to ensure addresses are accurate before they’re locked in.

On September 4th, backers will no longer be able to update their shipping address within BackerKit. To ensure your rewards are delivered to the correct address, please check your pledge and update your information as necessary before September 4th.

Step 1: Go to backerkit.com and log in to your account.
Step 2: Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the page.
Step 3: Select “Your Pledges & Surveys” from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Click on “Your Surveys” and locate the survey for Hoid’s Storybook Collection.
Step 5: Once inside your survey, within the “Shipping Info” section, click the “Edit Shipping Info” button to update your address. 

If you are unable to update your address or need to make the change after September 4th, please contact our support team, who can help correct the address. As a reminder, add-ons ship separately from pledge rewards and may not begin fulfillment until 2027.

Digital rewards will be available starting on September 15th. You will receive an email with a link to your backer survey, where your rewards can be found. Digital rewards can be accessed at any time post-fulfillment within your backer survey. Please allow 24 hours before contacting support if you do not immediately see them within your backer survey. 

Physical rewards will also begin shipping on September 15th. Once your rewards ship, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. We are unable to provide an order status update or fulfillment timeframe estimate prior to this email being sent. We’re excited for you to receive your newest additions to your Sandershelf!

  • The new EU €3 customs duty has already been paid for all applicable pledges.

The last of your items are ready to go!

We’ve ordered all pledge rewards! A massive shout out to our creative and development teams for their hard work to get those done. Their efforts are what help us stay on track for tier shipping to begin in fall. As a reminder, add-ons are slated to begin shipping in early 2027 and will be a separate shipment from the main tier rewards. 

The dog and the dragon plushies are ready for the next onesie party.

Now that surveys are completed, your addresses are locked. If you change states, provinces, or countries, please submit a ticket to the Dragonsteel support team to adjust your address.

A message to all EU backers:

We’ve recently become aware that the EU instituted a €3 customs charge per tariff classification. Thank you to those who called that out to us. We won’t add those charges to your shipping. Instead, Dragonsteel will cover these new shipping fees. We appreciate all our international backers, and we don’t want you to incur additional financial costs.

Update #7: Our newest merchandise is one step closer to your door!

Great news, worldhoppers: Production is on track for all books and merchandise! This means fulfillment is still on schedule and slated to begin early fall. To celebrate this, we wanted to share some final product samples with you all.

Each picture book will include a campaign-exclusive sticker sheet! Take a look at the watermarked renders of these beautiful sticker sheets—illustrated by Howard Lyon (The Dog and the Dragon), Steve Argyle (Wandersail), Anna Earley (The ChasmFriends Get a Pet), and Alexis & Justin Hernandez (The Girl Who Looked Up)—below:

Helpful reminders for pay-over-time backers.

For those who chose to pay-over-time, final payments will be processed during the beginning of July. After your last payment is completed, your backer survey will be sent, and payment for shipping and taxes—where applicable—will be collected. Surveys will need to be completed promptly in order for our Dougs and chulls to deliver your rewards.
